A title that would imply to some people that this is a blog about the band REM, which probably isn’t the best way to start things, but sometimes you just have to start any way you can.
This blog has been in the making for quite a while.
I’ve run YouTube channels and podcasts in recent years about various sports, and may well do so again for this venture, but I started out as a blogger and over the past year have come to miss the quiet, solitary process of just writing.
Maybe others get that from video editing, or recording podcasts, but I don’t. Whilst I’ve enjoyed the challenge of learning how to do those other forms, it still feels like hard work to me in a way that writing doesn’t (or at least doesn’t most of the time).
So, here we are. The world may not need another blog about basketball, but if we only did what was needed the world would be a boring place.
